When I think of Philadelphia – Philly Cheese Steaks, Pretzels and Water Ice pop in to my head and the different smells of the city resonate in my mind. Of course, who isn’t reminded of the deep seeded American history that Philadelphia holds.  Last time, I was there I saw Benjamin Franklin walking down the street, someone quickly reminded me that he wasn’t real – burst my bubble – well it was fun pretending, if even just for a minute.

I was not able to do a lot of touristy things when I was there in June which was disappointing.  I like to get a feel for a city when I visit and try to see all that it has to offer. Unfortunately, I do not foresee that happening on this trip either.  Sometimes exploring on your own can be exciting but I think it’s a lot more fun playing a tourist when you have someone to share the sites with.  Perhaps, someone will commission me for a whirl wind tour of Philly or maybe even a Phillies game – that would be fun!

I will be in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania from Sunday, September 18th – Friday, September 23nd.  I plan to be in the area for a minimum of two weeks and my time there will be fairly flexible. I also plan to visit Center City, Pennsylvania and Meadowlands area of Northern New Jersey.
